How has
the launch of the Leyparts initiative for quality spares fared?
Leyparts has been well-recognised for genuine, high quality spare parts for
Ashok Leyland vehicles for more than three decades.
Ashok Leyland's
continuous quest to be more customer-centric has manifested in the launch of
"Project MITR" - a loyalty program for parts retailers and mechanics. This nationwide
channel initiative has led to improved knowledge on new products, higher brand
salience and shelf space, better availability of parts and increased parts range
in the secondary market.
Further, efforts
are on for improved branding of components and packaging. We are also working
on networking of dealers / distributors through a dealer management system.
The above initiatives
have led to better revenue streams for dealers as also higher channel and customer
satisfaction - as measured in annual surveys.
